America’s 250th – Greenwich Community 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Join the Bruce Museum, Greenwich United Way (GUW), and Greenwich Road Runners in celebrating a historic milestone. One of Greenwich's signature events honoring America’s 250th anniversary will take place on June 6, 2026. This festive event kicks off at the iconic Bruce Museum, with the 1-Mile Run starting at 8:00 AM and the 5K beginning at 8:30 AM. Whether you’re running, jogging, or strolling, participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to enjoy a scenic course in Bruce Park and a spirited celebration of our nation’s past and future. After crossing the finish line, stick around for post-run refreshments, awards, entertainment, and enjoy free access to the Bruce Museum, making it a perfect day of fitness, history, and family fun in the heart of Greenwich.
