5k Zombie Run & 1 Mile Fun Run

RUNNING FOR YOUR LIFE! Get ready for a 5K Zombie Run & 1-Mile Fun Run, sponsored by the Van Buren Public School Education Foundation! We’ll be running for our lives through Van Buren Park and along the Iron Belle Trail, where ghosts, goblins, and zombies will be roaming about for a spooktacular and scary-fun time! Not quite ready to outrun the zombies? Our 1-Mile Fun Run will be a little more kid-friendly and perfect for the whole family! Come run, walk, scream, and have some Halloween fun while supporting the Van Buren Public School Education Foundation! Lace up… the zombies are waiting! Saturday October 10th Van Buren Park 50901 S. Interstate 94 Service Drive, Van Buren Township, 48111 Fun Run starts : 3:15 pm 5K starts at 4:00 pm Parking: Lakewood Shopping Center ( the Old K-mart) Walk on over to the park using the sidewalk / Iron Belle Trail Cost: 5k - $30 before September 30 at midnight. - $35 October 1st to race day Registration includes a race shirt 1 Mile Fun Run - $15 Registration includes a race medal Virtual Run - Same pricing timeline Awards: Overall Fastest: Male & Female 14 under M & F 15-19 M & F Overall Masters: 20-39 Male & Female 40-59 M & F 50-59 M & F 60-69 M & F 70+ M & F Fastest Teacher / Staff Also.... - Most Creative Zoombie -Most Frightening Crew Water stations will be available throughout, and snacks will be provided at the finish line. We will have an early race packet pickup on Tuesday, October 6th from 3:30-6:30 at the VBPS Admin Building, 555 W Columbia Ave, Belleville, MI 48111.
