5K 4 The Kidz

The race is held at Rowden Park We are excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual 5K 4 the Kidz run/walk/virtual event, which will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Rowden Park and is open to all ages, abilities and fitness levels. We aim to make a significant difference in the lives of the children in our community. Enjoy the trail at Rowden Park which takes you by the future location of our current Legacy Project - the Kiwanis Inclusive Playground - a universally accessible, inclusive, and nature-based recreational play space. The 5K course will start near the pavilion at Rowden Park. You will travel along the 1-mile trail around the park and continue outside the park at Pine Street through the Lapeer downtown area before reentering Rowden Park at Pine Street to complete the loop and finish near the pavilion.
