This year we are raising money for a beach utility vehicle to advance our response for nesting and injured sea turtles! The Tybee Sea Turtle Project is a conservation project permitted through the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to monitor and protect sea turtles on Tybee Island. The project team locates and protects sea turtle nests on the island. The science center's resident sea turtles serve as Marine Debris Ambassadors during their three year stay. While
